Cosecha uses Facebook Messenger to find new supporters, raise donations and create new activists

Cosecha is a nonviolent movement fighting for permanent protection, dignity, and respect for the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States. They’re a young organization and have been a leader using messaging for organizing and campaigning.

Recently they worked with an agency, Powerlabs, to launch a Facebook Messenger communications campaign targeting Spanish-speaking mothers and grandmothers. The results were great.

Campaigns focused on Latinx populations can be really successful. Reform Immigration for America, Voto Latino and Univision have all run outstanding mobile messaging campaigns, but Cosecha seems to be leading the way in 2019.
